James Clyne

Before establishing Clyne Partners, James amassed a wealth of experience in the world of the large, multi-national chartered accounting firm. While it gave him a deep understanding of business and compliance and the principles of client service, it also provided him with the perspective to recognise its shortcomings. James saw the opportunity to establish a fresh new philosophy in Chartered Accounting that revolved around the provision of up-to-the-minute services, allowing clients to make accurate decisions on business strategy.

James brings extraordinary energy and insight into every client challenge and his dedicated interest in accounting and taxation obligations creates a relationship with clients that goes beyond what is expected from today’s professional services.

When not working James is hanging out with his two lovely children and his beautiful wife.

David Clyne

Senior Partner

With a long background in private equity and accounting, David has developed a wide range of accounting skills from exposure to an array of different roles and client challenges. David’s strength is his aptitude for systems improvement – he has plenty of experience streamlining and improving financial department operations, enabling a simpler, more accurate reporting base for a variety of Stakeholders and Management.

David has a proven history of producing real time financial information for both compliance purposes and top management decision makers. Using a simplistic approach for the most technical accounting issues, David’s experience and calm nature will compliment any finance division.

When not at work he is running after his two toddlers, and in awe of his incredible wife.

Pearl Chew

Partner

Pearl is a Graduate from University of Tasmania and a Chartered Accountant. She has a demonstrated history of providing business advisory to both small and large enterprises. She is also skilled in corporate structuring, business accounting, cash flow modelling and taxation strategies. She possesses excellent leadership skills to successfully deliver projects and tasks. Additionally, she is highly adaptable in fast changing environments where deadlines are of the essence and communication is key.

When not working Pearl is hanging out with her husband and fluffy dog Barney.
